The Adoptions Training Project is funded by the Adoptions Services Bureau of the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). The Adoptions Training Project is part of the California Institute on Human Services at Sonoma State University. This project was conceptualized as a means to provide opportunities for CDSS Adoptions Specialists to receive current state-of-the-art trainings in best practices, clinical and casework skills and to provide information on current laws and policies.

This website features a searchable California community resource directory. The resource directory includes post-placement resources and information for adoptions staff, child service professionals, parents, and caregivers of foster and adopted children.
