Summer 2009 Financial Aid

Summer 2009 Financial Aid Request Forms will be available at the Financial Aid Office front counter on the first floor of Salazar Hall on 04/13/2009. To receive summer financial aid, you must have had a financial aid award in place at SSU for Fall 2008 and/or Spring 2009. If you received a State University Grant (SUG) for Fall and/or Spring, you may be eligible for SUG for summer (up to the amount of your State University Fee.) Also, Pell Grant recipients who did not attend full-time both Fall and Spring, and students who did not borrow their annual maximum in Direct Loan funding, may be eligible for aid from those programs for summer.

Summer fees are due by June 2, 2009 for Session 1 (4W1) and 8-Week Session (8W1), and by June 30 for Session 2 (4W2). In order to ensure your summer financial aid eligibility has been determined prior to the fee payment deadline, you must submit your Summer 2009 Financial Aid Request Form by Friday, May 15, 2009.
