Association
of Hutchins Alumni
(AHA)
|
The faculty of the Hutchins School would like to create opportunities
for our alumni to remain connected to the program and we would really
like to hear from you about what kinds of activities, events, or projects
might be of interest to you.
Due
to the nature of the teaching in the Hutchins School, namely the seminar
discussions and the emphasis on lifelong learning, the Hutchins alumni
are, according to a recent survey, the most loyal followers of a department
in the entire CSU system. It is only appropriate, therefore, that we formally
establish the Association of Hutchins Alumni (AHA).
The purpose of AHA is to provide alumni with the opportunity to be involved
in the various aspects and activities of the Hutchins School and the Hutchins
Institute for Public Policy Studies and Community Action, to interact
with each other and to provide the basis for collective action on identified
issues of interest.
There are three categories of opportunities for participation and involvement:
Discussion Groups, Tutoring
and Mentoring, and Research and Policy
Making.
