Rates and Mechanics
The Star is a broadcast format, 5-column page on 22 inch newsprint. PDF format is required for all advertisements sent via email. All ads must be bordered to the exact size.

Advertising rates are based on camera-ready artwork and there is a $25 per hour charge for any type setting or ad creation.

Retail Rates: $8.00 per column inch
National Rates: $10.00 per column inch

1. All advertising is subject to approval

2. Specific ad position is gladly given wen possible but is NEVER guaranteed.

3. Errors in copy must be brought to the attention of the advertising manager.

4. The Star assumes NO financial responsibility for typographical errors or omissions.

5. minor spelling errors do not qualify as a "make good."

6. The Star is not responsible for more than on incorrect insertion. Liability does not exceed the cost of space.

7. Payment in advance is required for ALL contracts under $250

8. All political advertising must be paid in advance

9. Net due 30 days from receipt of invoice, unless other arrangements have been made.
