Community FoundationsIn addition to applying for the SSU Scholarship Program, we recommend that all students start their scholarship searches locally. Community foundations typically offer scholarships to residents of the counties they serve. Below is a list of California counties and the community foundations that serve them. Not every county has a community foundation, and every community foundation doesn't necessarily have a web site. You should select the foundation located in your county of residence to find out more about potential scholarships.Butte/Glenn/TehamaNorth Valley Community FoundationHumboldt/Del Norte/TrinityHumboldt Area FoundationLos AngelesCalifornia Community FoundationMarinMarin Education FundNapaCommunity Foundation of the Napa ValleySan DiegoSan Diego FoundationSan FranciscoSan Francisco FoundationSan Mateo/Northern Santa ClaraPeninsula Community FoundationSanta BarbaraSanta Barbara FoundationScholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara Santa CruzCommunity Foundation of Santa Cruz CountyShasta/SiskiyouShasta Regional Community FoundationSolanoSolano Community FoundationSonomaSonoma County Community FoundationVenturaVentura County Community Foundation |
