What to Bring to Your Advising Appointment

Whether you are Declared, Undeclared, or EOP, it is important to bring the following:

• A printout of your unofficial SSU transcripts.
   
• Your list of questions and concerns
   
• Your check list indicating GE courses completed. Go to the General Education Requirement Overview site. There you'll find:
   
• The 51 units GE pattern (pdf,) used by those students who started at SSU as Freshmen.
   
• The 48 units GE pattern (pdf,) used by students who transfer with 30+ semester units.
TRANSFER STUDENTS:
• Bring transcripts (official or unofficial) from all other colleges/universities you attended.
   
• Print out and bring your Transfer Credit report. (Log in to PeopleSoft > self service > transfer credit > view transfer credit report.)
   
• If you have repeated a course, or plan to repeat a course, bring a copy of your Repeat of Course form (pdf). Petitions & Forms are found at http://www.sonoma.edu/ar/records/forms.shtml
