Paul Loeb, Social Activist and Civic Engagement Motivator, will present for students, faculty, staff and community members.  Please attend this exciting and inspiring event!

Drawing on his books and 35 years of exploring citizen involvement, Paul Loeb focuses on how ordinary citizens and students in particular can make their voices heard and actions count in a time when we’re told neither matter.  Loeb, author of the underground bestsellers Soul of a Citizen and The Impossible Will Take a Little While:  A Citizen’s Guide to Hope in a Time of Fear is a Affiliate Scholar in Seattle’s Center for Ethical Leadership.

Free tickets are available at the Student Union Front Desk.

This event is co-sponsored by ASP, the Center for Community Engagement and the Sonoma Student Union.
The CCE hosted its first ever Open House on Friday, October 26, 2007, 2pm – 4pm in the Center for Community Engagement, 1102 Schulz Information Center, 1st floor of the library, next to the Writing Center.  Coffee and cookies were served.

If you are an organization interested in having a table at the fair in 2008, contact merith.weisman@sonoma.edu. The 2005 Sunrise Awards
