GENERAL EVENTS

The Service and Internship Fair will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Salazar Quad on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. This yearly event connects students with volunteer and internship positions with local organizations and government agencies. Faculty can also learn how to get involved in the community through the fair. The event is co-sponsored by the CCE and JUMP. If you are an organization interested in having a table at the fair, contact merith.weisman@sonoma.edu. The 2005 Sunrise Awards

The Careers for the Common Good panel is a yearly event featuring a line-up of representatives from non-profit and governmental agencies and programs that work for the public good. Panelists discuss their jobs — and the life paths that led to them. Come learn about options for your own future beyond graduation. The event is held each spring and is co-hosted by the CCE & JUMP.
