Housing
Temporary Housing
Short-term temporary housing is available at some of the hotels located within 3 miles of SSU in Rohnert Park. Our Off-Campus Housing department maintains a listing of local hotels and their rates.

Rental Housing
Sonoma State University owns ten townhouses within a 10 minute walk from the center of campus. The townhouses are intended for newly hired tenure-track faculty, to help them transition into the local community. Each townhouse is approximately 1300 sq. ft. with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a double car garage. Downstairs there is a nice living room with fireplace, sliding glass door to the enclosed landscaped back yard patio, a half-bath, and a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a built-in gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator and garbage disposal. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a full bath and large walk-in closet. The townhouses have window coverings, forced air heating, carpeting, phone & TV cable jacks. There are hook-ups in the garage for washer and gas or electric dryer. The townhouses are a good value in Sonoma County and are available for a one-year lease at $1,300 per month.
