San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Bus ServicesGolden Gate Transit provides fixed-route intercity service between Santa Rosa and San Francisco on four separate routes. Sonoma County Transit provides fixed-route bus service throughout Sonoma County. Eight Sonoma County Transit routes operate to or through the City of Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa Airport Express provides direct service to and from San Francisco International Airport via Rohnert Park and Petaluma. Sonoma Airporter provides service to and from San Francisco International Airport from Sonoma. Greyhound Bus Lines provides intercity service to Santa Rosa. All Greyhound lines serve the Greyhound terminal, located on Santa Rosa Avenue near Sebastopol Road. Santa Rosa CityBus provided fixed-route bus service within the City of Santa Rosa on 15 separate routes. All buses are fully accessible to disabled persons and capable of carrying two wheelchairs at a time. Hours of operation are: CityBus also contracts with Volunteer Wheels to provide curb-to-curb dial-a-ride services for elderly and disabled persons in the City. *Connections between Santa Rosa City Bus, Golden Gate Transit and Sonoma County Transit can be made at the 2nd Street Transit Mall in Downtown Santa Rosa. There are plans to widen part of 101 to accommodate the fast population growth of Sonoma County. Meanwhile, if you are commuting be prepared to work around or contend with traffic congestion.
