Academic Student Employees

In accordance with the California State University 's recent agreement with the United Auto Workers covering academic student employees, a group that includes Teaching Associates, Graduate Assistants, and Instructional Student Assistants, Sonoma State University has amended its policy on directory information for students under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. For students employed as academic student employees and only for release to United Auto Workers in response to requests from that organization, the University has designated as directory information the following information: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, enrollment status [undergraduate vs.graduate, part-time vs. full-time] department employed, and student employee's status as student employee (that is, in which job title the student is employed).
