- Managed a State General Fund annual budget of approximately
$13 million and a College of over 170 faculty and 4,800
students. Significant accomplishments have included:
- Governance. Led a task force that developed a formal
College governance structure subsequently adopted by a
referendum of the faculty.
- Strategic Planning. Led a broadly representative College
committee in carrying out College-based strategic planning.
Developed and prioritized strategic initiatives, and linked
them to budget allocations and measurable outcomes.
- Curriculum Innovation. Led a faculty task force that
developed and launched a new interdisciplinary undergraduate
program in e-business in one year.

- Information Technology. Instituted a major emphasis on
cutting-edge use of IT. The College is now a campus and
regional leader in the use and support of information
technology in its learning and administrative processes.
- Fundraising. Over the past five years, the College has
raised nearly $8 million in cash and gifts in kind. I have also
personally obtained pledges of $1.5 million toward a new
College building in the past year.
- University Collaborations. Co-chair of Student Advising
Task Force with Dean of College of Letters, Arts, and Social
Sciences; Chair of President's Task Force on Community and
Economic Development.
