Welcome to the SSU Office of Reporting and Analytics. The purpose of our office is to support campus progress and success by providing statistics, analyses, and assessment information to advance the educational mission of Sonoma State University.
About Reporting and Analytics
The Office of Reporting and Analytics is the primary source of statistical information for Sonoma State University. Our office is responsible for managing campus data, conducting research, and presenting findings to advance strategic university planning and decision making. In addition, Reporting and Analytics supplies information to the Sonoma State campus community, the California State University system, external publications, and other interested organizations. We are committed to timely, high-quality work accomplished with teamwork, innovation, and reliability.
Listed below are details of some of the most popular sections of the Reporting and Analytics website. We also encourage you to review the navigation sidebar on the left, as there is much more information on our site than is summarized below.
The Quick Facts section of our website provides a "snapshot" of SSU’s current institutional data regarding census-date student enrollments and demographics, enrollment levels, and the top 20 majors across SSU's academic divisions.
This section contains in-depth data regarding specific populations of SSU students, such as First Time Freshmen and the student body as a whole. Here, statistics on freshmen gender and ethnicity, admissions, and county of origin are presented, along with graduation and retention rates, and the number of degrees awarded in the most recent academic year.
The Common Data Set is a compilation of statistics that are often provided to national publications, such as College Board and U.S. News and World Report, as well as the Voluntary System of Accountability's College Portrait. This page provides a glimpse of Sonoma State’s basic statistics from 1999 onward.
