Instructions
- use only courses taken for a grade (A-F) (See red courses in the example below)
- total the number of units taken for a grade (A - F) (4th column below)
- calculate the grade points earned for each course (5th column below)
- total the grade points earned.
- divide the total grade point earned by the total graded units earned
Terms to know
UA: Units attempted for a grade (A-F)
UE: Units earned/completed for either a grade (A-F) or for CR/NC (Credit/No Credit) that count towards BA/BS degree
GP: Grade points are the numerical value earned for a course that is graded (A-F)
GPA: Grade point average- the numerical average of all grade points earned
