WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR ADVISING APPOINTMENT

Whether you are undecided, undeclared, EOP, or pre-nursing, it is important to bring the following:

• A printout of your unofficial SSU transcripts.
  
  
• Your list of questions and concerns
  
  
• Your check list indicating GE courses completed. Go to the General Education Requirement Overview site. There you'll find:
  
  
• The 50 units GE pattern (pdf) GE PATTERN FOR FALL 2011 ENTERING FIRST TIME FRESHMEN
  
  
• The 51 units GE pattern (pdf) GE PATTERN FOR STUDENTS WHO ENTERED AS FRESHMEN PRIOR TO FALL 2011
  
  
• The 48 units GE pattern (pdf) USED BY STUDENTS WHO TRANSFER WITH 30+ SEMESTER UNITS.

TRANSFER STUDENTS:

• Bring transcripts (official or unofficial) from all other colleges/universities you attended.
  
  
• Print out and bring your Transfer Credit report. (Log in to PeopleSoft > self service > transfer credit > view transfer credit report.)
  
  
• If you have repeated a course, or plan to repeat a course, bring a copy of your Repeat of Course form (pdf). Petitions & Forms are found at SSU's admissions forms page.
