WELCOME TO SUMMER SESSION 2009
Summer Session is open to the following students:
- Continuing Students
- New admitted Fall 2009 SSU Students
- CSU Visitors
- Concurrent Enrollees
- California College community College Cross Enrollees
If you are a continuing SSU student who was registered Spring 2009, you can go on line to register for Summer classes beginning April 1st.
Note: If you plan on graduating in Spring 2009, have not applied for admission, and have not been admitted for Fall 2009, please contact Extended Education/Open University for information about Summer registration. If you have applied for admission, have been admitted and have paid your $200 ERD, you can register for Summer classes. (See registration dates, below.) If you are a new Undergraduate or Postbaccalaurate (graduate, credential, second baccalaureate) student who has been admitted for Fall 2009 and has paid your $200 ERD (enrollment registration deposit) for Fall 2009...

Once your application has been processed and you have been admitted for Summer, you will receive an e-mail confirming your admission and wligibility to register. You can then obtain your SSU user ID and password, log onto our student information system and add your classes. CLICK HERE for instructions on how to register.

NOTE:
- If you are a CSU Visitor or Concurrent Student, you will also need to fill out an additional necessary form.
- If you are a CA Community College or UC Cross Enrollee, you will also need to fill out an additional necessary form.
If you are neither a continuing student, have not been admitted for Fall 2009 and paid your ERD, or are not a CSU Visitor or Concurrent Enrollee or a Cross Enrollee, you can contact the School of Extended Education/Open University for information about summer enrollment.
MAXIMUM Unit Load For Summer (9 units total)
NOTE: READ EXCEPTION, below*
Students can take up to a maximum of 9 units over the summer in any combination of sessions. We will not accept or review any requests to take more than 9 units for the Summer.
*Unit load exception: MA in Nursing students can take up to 13 units.
