The Visiting Artists Lecture Series provides our students with valuable insights and exposure to art professionals and their work. This semester's series will be focusing on the role of 'Craft' in contemporary art. The artists in this series have chosen inventive paths that transcend the conventional use of traditional 'craft' materials. This kind of hybridization engages, mimics, and sometime even taunts the craft world, while squarely addressing contemporary art concerns.
