"REFLECTIONS" Juried Exhibition - Artists Bay Area January 17 - February 23
What is your interpretation of reflection? Do you visualize an image from a mirror or a pool of water? Perhaps you see reflection related to an internal, personal experience. Call for work that interprets "Reflection" either literally as in an optical image or metaphorically as thought, meditation or human contemplation.
Open to all media (including film and performance) and inviting representational, abstract or conceptual art work. Day of intake of art work: January 7

invites young Bay Area artists to submit their new work for consideration for the New Voices - New Visions Exhibition. New Voices - New Visions is a project born out of the desire to help young emerging artists reach their audiences, and to promote interest and understanding of emerging visual art among the community. The final deadline for designs is Thursday November 1st. Designs must be turned in via email or a date must be set assigned in order to turn it in to a committee member. The Friends of the Arts at Turtle Bay, in cooperation with Turtle Bay Exploration Park, is now accepting entries from artists currently living in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska for our second biennial juried art exhibition. The aim of the exhibition is to provide a forum for both established and emerging west coast artists in a diversity of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and mixed media.
