ASP Back To School Comedy Show

Associated Students Productions is proud to present our annual ASP Comedy Show with Tim Lee and Sal Calanni on Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 at 8pm in the Cooperage. The event is FREE for everyone.

Both Tim and Sal performed in the finale of last year's San Francisco Comedy Competition. Tim Lee has a PhD in Biology and spent years developing simulation and analytical models of population dynamics before he discovered that this bored him to tears. When he tried comedy for the first time the tears stopped. He has been bringing his expertise of biology, however, into his comedy ever since.

Sal Calanni's comedy paints pictures to his audiences. He enjoys describing his Italian family- well actually Sicilian, lot of people don't count that as Italian- as he magically morphs in and out of characters right before your eyes. He also likes to express his opinions about race, politics, life, and anything else that should probably never be discussed over a bottle of whiskey.

Both men perform frequently in San Francisco's hottest comedy clubs as well as all over the country. They were welcomed last year to our campus for the Best of the San Francisco Comedy Competition show and left with a standing ovation.
