Stevie Starr The Regurgitator
Event: Stevie Starr The Regurgitator
Date: Friday, October 30th
Time: 8:00pm
Where: Commons
Admission: Free to all.

Associated Students Productions will be hosting a freakish event for those who are not faint of heart or weak of stomach. On Friday, October 30th at 8:00 pm in the Sonoma State University Commons, Stevie Starr "The Regurgitator" will swallow the unthinkable and cough them back up dry, clean and in order! This event is free to all.

A young man with a Scottish accent greets an eager crowd. He holds up a light bulb, pops it into his mouth, and swallows it whole. The stunned silence turns into deafening applause. This is the beginning of the most astonishing act you will ever see.

Stevie Starr is internationally known for his unusual talent and has traveled to countries on every continent to baffle audiences of all ages. No one really knows how he does it.

He has appeared on television shows in Australia, Europe, and Asia, as well as popular shows in the Unites States such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Howard Stern Show." Starr's fame has continued to rise by shocking audiences swallowing objects like goldfish, light bulbs, coins, and even a Rubik's cube (which comes up completed).

Stevie Starr, who Paul Daniels describes as the "most exciting" act he has ever had on his show, started building his skills at the young age of 4 in his hometown of Glasgow in the UK. It was then he started swallowing his pocket money and even taking a bigger risk by swallowing bumblebees and bringing them back up to fly away. Seeing is believing so check out some of his work on YouTube under the search "Stevie Starr" or on his websites at www.ukstars.co.uk/stevie-starr and www.steviestarr.com
