Hello! My name is Sara Kaufman and I'm a fourth year double major in Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies. I have been working with the Associated Students Productions for the last 2 years and in my time with the group I have planned events such as the Expendables and Scary Kids Scaring Kids Concerts, Battle of the Bands, lectures with the likes of Alan Weisman and Naomi Klein, and last year's Women's History Month events.

I grew up in the small town of Grass Valley, CA and ever since I was a little girl, playing in our fields full of wildflowers and beautiful leaves, I have wanted to be a Marriage and Family Therapist. While my work with ASP may steer me in another direction at some point, I still plan to work as a therapist in primarily queer youth communities and for families with low to no income.

While I scurry through life amidst a great number of quotes and motto's, today I am influenced by this particular quote by Thomas Moore: "A soulful life is full of pleasure and meaningfulness, although it may require of us a measure of unaccustomed eccentricity and irrationality as a price for a peaceful heart."

Bruce Berkowitz ASI Program Coordinator aka El Jeffe
I've been in the student activities field for more years than you have been alive and I still get a kick out of it. And it's true we once had Green Day play a nooner here for $100.
I know that the social events and co curricular activities ASP presents add a very important and necessary quality to campus life at Sonoma. We pride ourselves in giving the students and campus community an incredible value for their fee dollar.
Take advantage of our events and the opportunity to meet new people and be exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking while having a great time at SSU. Be there!
