Computer proficiency is demonstrated by successful completion of the Single Part Practical Computer Competency Requirement (PCCR) Exam with a grade of "PASS". Click here to register.Click here to view recent results from the exam.During the fall and spring semesters, PCCR Exams are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Examination sessions will be administered over three consecutive days: Wednesday, thursday, and Friday, over the following periods:
During the summer, PCCR Exams will be administered on a selected date and time near the end of June or at the beginning of July. Examination dates and times will usually be posted for registration about four weeks prior to the administration of exam. All students are advised, and it is each and every student's own responsibility, to sit for and pass the exam as early in their pre-business program as possible. All components of the Practical Computer Competency Requirement Examination will be examined using Personal Computer (PC) Windows based systems and Microsoft EXCEL only. The exam must be completed within thirty-five (35) minutes. All examinees are required to have valid Sonoma State University Seawolf accounts at the time of exam in order to sit for the exam.
