Join JUMP’s Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week for an indirect service project and a movie screening of The Public. Students will help make blankets for various shelters in Sonoma County while watching the story of how an act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when people experiencing homelessness in Cincinnati take over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. This is a great opportunity for students to engage in indirect service as well as critical discussions surrounding homelessness and other issues surrounding wealth distribution.
