Please join the San Diego State University Women Faculty of Color Empowerment Group for their spring 2021 kick-off event!

The purpose of the event is to empower, foster connection, and reclaim the power of women of color while centering their voices to uplift other women navigating the ivory system. More than ever, Women of Color are under pressure to perform, mentor, and support while contending with the deleterious effects of race-based stressors in academia. How you cope with the associated feelings of frustration, isolation, undue pressure, stress, and racial battle fatigue will make all the difference.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. All CSU Women of Color faculty, lecturers, and staff are invited to attend. Please register for the event using this link or the one below. If you have any questions, please contact Feion Villodas by emailing GSDSDSU@sdsu.edu.
