Held at the beginning of each academic year, Convocation is a chance for student leaders, staff, faculty, and administrators to celebrate the year’s launch and to reconnect around the University’s core mission of educational excellence. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
The morning starts off at 8 a.m. with refreshments in the lobby of Weill Hall, socializing after the summer—or for students, a chance to meet those who will teach and/or support you in your college career. A Faculty Showcase will be featured and we will hear from student body President, Wilson Hall, University President, Dr. Judy K. Sakaki, among others.
