At the close of every academic year the Center for Student Leadership, Involvement & Service sponsors the Student Involvement Recognition Reception (SIRR). At this event student organizations, events, members, and advisors, and the programs that support these groups are nominated and recognized for their accomplishments and achievements of the past year.
SIRR is held each spring in May and the call for award nominations goes out in early April. Keep track throughout the year what you are doing, or who is doing what for your organization. This may be the perfect opportunity to recognize someone special or a wonderful event your organization has worked on.
