The information here has been compiled to assist you in your role as a student leader or advisor of a student organization on the Sonoma State campus. We encourage you to use this material as a reference throughout the year and share it with other officers and/or members of your organization.
Hosting Special Events
Complete the following steps if you're interested in hosting a special event on campus (i.e. philanthropy event, dance, etc.).
- Start by completing the RUFAS and Police Services forms. These two need to be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the event to the CSLIS Office.
- When you turn in this paperwork, CSLIS will schedule a Special Events Meeting with your organization to meet with CES, the Box Office, and Events Staff. Meetings take place on Wednesdays with either 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. time slots.
- If your event is approved in the Events Meeting, you will be given the 2013-2014 Special Events Packet. Separate meetings will be scheduled with the Box Office to go over ticket sales.
