About Phi Delta Theta
Phi Delta Theta offically became an active chapter at Sonoma State on
April 19, 1997 and since then has initiated over 180 brothers.
The men of Phi Delta Theta strive to uphold the three cardinal principles
of Phi Delta Theta, friendship, sound learning and rectitude. We strive in
all ways to transmit the fraternity not only not less, but greater than it
was transmitted to us. Phi Delta Theta now has nearly 160 active chapters
in 43 states and five Canadian provinces. The Fraternity has initiated
more than 228,000 men and currently has more than 142,000 living alumni.
There are over 100 recognized alumni clubs across the U.S. and Canada.

Philanthropies

Skate for Fate - members from the chapter ride bikes from San Francisco to Sonoma State and raise money to buy toys for children at a hospital during Christmas.

Teeter Totter - members from the chapter teeter totter for 2 days straight to raise money for cystic fibrosis, an alumnus who was diagnosed with it just recently passed
away.
