Coastal Climbing

Never been rock climbing? Maybe you’ve only climbed in the gym?  This is your chance to get outside and pull on some real rocks and learn the basics from ODP leaders in an amazing setting.  Starting at the SSU Rock Wall and then heading to Goat Rock (aka Sunset Boulders) we will be showing you how to belay for basic top-roping scenarios and effectively spot a bouldering partner in outdoor settings.  We start on Friday night at SSU, camp out along the Sonoma Coast, and then rise and climb at Goat Rock where we will have spectacular views of nearly all of the Sonoma Coast.  This is your opportunity to take your climbing to the next level or get your climbing career started; don’t miss out.
