Wilderness Welcome Staff (Summer of 2007)
The Wilderness Welcome Program staff are some of the best around. Most of the trip leaders are affiliated with the Outdoor Pursuits program on campus, and all have established themselves in backcountry knowledge and camp-craft skills. They are all Wilderness First Aid certified, with a special eye out for safety. Each leader is currently a student at SSU and knowledgeable about Sonoma State as well as many other aspects of university life. Not only will they help you feel comfortable in the backcountry and with the whole group, but also they will aid in the smooth transition into freshman year by being a part of a group of people at SSU that you know has similar interests as yourself.Kalen Roloff
