The SSU Triathlon team is starting off the 2008-2009 academic year really
strong. With 17 official members the team is ready to be competitive with
other California schools.

Six SSU triathletes participated in the Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon in San Francisco on Sunday February 1st. Congratulations to 3 members who completed their first half!!

Three SSU Triathletes participated in the local Redwood Empire 12k and 5k fun runs on November 2nd. All three placed in their age group!

Five SSU Triathletes participated in the local Harvest Fair 10k on
October 5th. Two placed in the top three in their age group.

We are proud to announce our new coach for the 2008-2009 academic year, Paul Middlebrook. Paul is a USAT certified coach and a SSU alum. Please check out his website, where team workouts will be posted this year. http://www.fitnessfourlife.org
