Special Features
College Student Counselors.....
All of SKC's counselors are college students. They bring a variety of
experiences working with children to camp.
Theme Weeks.....
A new theme is designated for each session. Camp activities are based
on the theme for that session.
Campus Explorations.....
Each week, the campers are invited into the college experience by the
faculty and staff of Sonoma State University. Past explorations have led
us through the underground tunnels at SSU, a chemistry magic show, a laser
light show, and many more. We thank the faculty and staff of SSU for their
help and hard work in offering this special feature of camp.
Field Trips.....
Each session we will leave the SSU campus and travel out into the community.
On Wednesdays we load up our bus and head toward our destination. Field
trips in the past have found us at Mrs. Grossman's Sticker Factory, Cold Stone Creamery, Armstrong Redwoods, and The San Francisco Zoo. The costs of all
field trips are included in the weekly rate.
