2004-05 Academic Year

Fall Semester 2004

  • Aug. 23 Academic year begins. General faculty conference
  • Aug. 24 Orientation and Advising
  • Aug. 23-24 Registration/Add/Drop
  • Aug. 24 Last day to drop classes with full refund of fees
  • Aug. 25 Classes begin
  • Aug. 25 Late Registration begins
  • Aug. 25 - Sept. 8 Add/Drop
  • Sept. 8 Last day to Add; last day to Drop (with prorated refund of fees); fees due for those who participated in Reg 2, add/drop, late registration. Students dropped for non-payment of fees wil not be eligible for reinstatement for Fall 2004.
  • Sept. 9 - 21 Begin Petition to Add with $20 administrative fee per class (adding classes permitted for serious and compelling reasons only)
  • Sept. 15 Deadline for degrees to be awarded in December 2004
  • Sept. 21 Last day to Drop with 'W' by petition; do not need serious and compelling reasons; last day to Petitionto Add
  • Sept. 22 Last day to file grade appeal from previous semester
  • Sept. 22 Degree Audit deadine for May 2005 potential graduates
  • Sept. 23 - Nov. 12 Petition to Withdraw from a Class with $20 administrative fee (dropping classes permitted because of serious and compelling reasons only)
  • Sept. 27 Last day to change Grading Basis (done on-line)
  • Dec. 10 Last day of classes
  • Dec. 13 - Dec. 17 Final examinations
  • Jan. 3 Semester ends
