Dr. Mark Perri recently received his PhD from U.C. Berkeley, specializing in environmental chemistry. He'll be teaching Analytical chemistry and starting his research projects here at Sonoma State in his first tenure-track position.
Dr. Joan Shinkle is a Howard University alum. She enjoyed a career as a medical physician and came out of retirement to teach general chemistry at SSU.
Dr. Thelma Garcia just received her PhD from U.C. Davis this year, and has returned to Sonoma State, where she did her undergrad, to teach general chemistry.
