Half-Time Mentor
Service Description
Most half-time positions will consist of mentors tutoring 2 students one-on-one helping them to improve their reading fluency and comprehension. Half-time mentors will then transition into classrooms co-leading activities in our after school program. Some mentors may serve in our evening Family Literacy program supporting group enrichment and reading activities.
Commitment
- Year of Service: September 10, 2007- May 30, 2008 (minimum of 900 hours)
- Weekly Commitment: Average of 27 hours per week
