Well, I've posted the official dates for the Super Smash Brothers Tournament. The
dates are Feburary 21, 2004 from 4:00 - 9:00pm. It will be held in
The Vineyard (There's a class in Salazar 2022 on Saturday; dang it). Anyway, the
prizes will most likely be a statue of link riding epona for the four way brawl bracket, and
a really nice platinum wireless gamecube controller for the one on one bracket. If you don't
have a gamecube, this will be negotiable, but these prizes aren't for certain, and we won't
be sure until gameday. I will buy pizzas (4 larges) and drinks will be available. Newbies are
most certinely welcome. If you don't play games, then you can still come to cheer on
your friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc. So come and have fun, and lets make this a tournament
to remember.

I know this is a shamless plug, but to all you .hack anime fans out there, .hack part 4 is out; this
completes the series. I've already played all 4 games in a row, and if you can muster up about 120 - 150
bucks for 4 used games, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you gamers give this series a whirl. I have not played
a game this exciting since Chrono Trigger, and this series currently stands at the number two best RPG
I have ever played (behind Chrono Trigger, of course). It's a lot of hours, but the experience is worth
it.

I need to know how many people want to do OVA Saturday. I'm not going to be there this time
(ever, I have too much work), but I want to know if it's worth my time to schedule the room for
everybody. If you want to keep OVA Saturday going, send me or Gidd an email to let us know.
I'll also ask in the club. If nobody wants to go to OVA Saturday then I won't schedule it (3 or
4 people isn't enough in my book). So speak up if you want to keep OVA Saturday.

So, the first meeting is upon us. The first meeting of the new semester will take place
on Monday, February 2nd (the second week of classes). This may be an important meeting, if
you're going to attend at all this semester, this is the one to attend ^_^. We'll be collecting
the pieces and judging them for the art contest (all anyonymously and everyone gets to vote).
Also, we're going to vote on which show to watch this semester to replace Shin Getter Robo.
I really hope all goes well, remember to submit something for the art contest, if it's
just Trench and I that would not be cool nosiree. If you need a refresher on the rules, they're
on the rules page. And remember the meeting time and place is on the
events page. I hope to see everyone there! Otanoshimini! ^_^

I finally got around to finalizing the art contest. The due date has been added to the
events page, and the rules are up on the rules
page. The idea is really simple really, just draw something (please draw something,
we don't want this to be just Trench and I), have it done before February 2nd, when we'll
judge the pieces at the first club meeting of the semester. Sorry I forgot to finalize this
during the semester, but we can still have a good contest! ^_^
