Ridley Scott, Gary Oldman, Jeff Bridges and Ruben Rios II.
Mr. Murray sums it up by saying; “I teach my students not only the
theoretical vocabulary but also the practical knowledge that the industry
requires. By understanding these two elements, students can find their
unique way to express themselves. I believe this marriage of thought is a
priceless element of Media curriculum. With the inherent power and
influence of the Media there comes a responsibility. My goal is to give my
students not only the practical tools to succeed out there but, also a
sense of ownership that comes with that influence.”
He continues to work in the field in multiple capacities such as the
“Media Specialist” for the International Latino Film Festival. After
testing the film festival circuit with his short film “She”, he’s
continued as a Producer's Consultant on "Lustig" and other Independent
films currently in development. He is an alumni of UC Santa Barbara (Film
Studies & Physical Activities) and Sonoma State University (Education).
