Welcome to the homepage for the Master of Arts in Counseling department at Sonoma State University. For more information about our programs, please click on one of the links on the left side of this screen. To contact a specific faculty member, click on the Faculty link to the left, or call the Department office number, (707) 664-2544.
If you have any questions about our program, please:
- Read over the materials on our website; most of the information you need to know is contained herein.
- Consider attending one of our Information Meetings. The administrative coordinator and two faculty members will be present to give you further information and answer any questions you have.
- Please do not call or email individual faculty members about program information and your application. The faculty would like to be able to talk individually to everyone who applies, but this is just not possible due to the large number of applicants.
For questions about the School Counseling Program please contact Adam Zagelbaum, Ph.D. firstname.lastname@example.org
For questions about the CMHC Program, please contact Julie Shulman, Ph.D. email@example.com
Due to staffing limitations, we are only able to respond to inquiries related specifically to our programs. At this time, we are unable to field general inquiries regarding licensure and credentialing in California.
