Single Subject Placement Information:Single Subject candidates are involved in local public schools during their last two semesters of their credential program. In Phase 1, students spend at least 60 hours in the classroom: observing, assisting the resident teacher, working with students individually and in small groups, and eventually teaching single lessons. During Phase 2, students remain in the same classroom(s) where they observed, and they will assume full teaching responsibilities.
