New Faculty Orientation
The CTPD, with the Professional Development Subcommittee, offers varied orientation activities to new faculty. It is important to PDS and CTPD to welcome new faculty to campus and to be of assistance in their teaching careers, both in terms of teaching and professional development. These events kick-off with a full-day Welcome and Orientation to faculty coming to Sonoma State for their first year.
This year's New Faculty Orientation will take place on Thursday, August 21st. More information to be posted here as to time, location and agenda.
In addition, throughout the academic year, there are New Faculty Workshops at which topics of particular interest are presented to and discussed with newer faculty. There are also Web sites to acquaint new faculty with the multitude of SSU Acronyms and Frequently Answered Questions.
