New Faculty Orientation
The CTPD, with the Professional Development Subcommittee, offers varied orientation activities to new faculty. It is important to PDS and CTPD to welcome new faculty to campus and to be of assistance in their teaching careers, both in terms of teaching and overall professional development. These events kick-off with a full-day Welcome and Orientation to faculty coming to Sonoma State for their first year.
This year's New Faculty Orientation took place on Friday, August
21st.

In addition, throughout the academic year, there are New Faculty Workshops at which topics of particular interest are presented to and discussed with newer faculty. There are also Web sites to acquaint new faculty with the multitude of SSU Acronyms and an online Faculty Handbook.
