• The CIA World Factbook provides up-to-date information about different countries in the world.

• The Inflation Calculator adjusts values for the effects of inflation.  
• What's a dollar worth? uses the CPI to calculate what something purchased in the past would be worth in 2001.  Another site --How much is that worth today? -- is similar, and it goes as far back as 1665.
• It All Adds Up is an online game that teaches teens about credit, budgeting, and saving. 
• The Mint has a lot of materials on personal finance.
