Single Subject Credential Program

The Single Subject Credential Program is housed in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Secondary Education (CSSE) and is one of three departments in the School of Education at Sonoma State University. The program offers credentials in eight areas of authorization including English, mathematics, social science, science, foreign language, music, art, and physical education. It also links with four undergraduate subject matter waiver programs in English, mathematics, music and physical education. We serve candidates who live throughout the region, a large area that encompasses Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Mendocino, Solano, and Lake Counties. We also have an approved Intern program.
