The School of Education, one of 5 academic schools in the Division of Academic Affairs at Sonoma State University, is highly effective in the planning, organization, and delivery of programs that prepare teacher candidates, educational administrators and other school professionals. Programs are organized, governed, and coordinated with the active involvement of program faculty and staff. The School of Education consists of 21 tenure track faculty, 43 adjunct faculty and19 field supervisors. Additional faculty are found in the in the School of Social Sciences which houses the Pupil Personnel Services credential and the School Counseling M.A. program and the Adapted Physical Education program housed in the School of Science and Technology.
