Program Application Submission Periods For Spring 2010 Admissions

October 1, 2009: Priority deadline for all programs

November 30, 2009: Extended deadline for complete applications for all credential and masters programs

All completed applications received by November 30 (or clearly postmarked by that date) will be considered for admissions if there are seats available in the program. Only complete applications will be considered for Spring 2010 admission; incomplete applications will be deferred for Fall 2010 admission once all materials are received.

Only Single Subject English and Social Studies Program applications received by the October 1, 2009 priorty deadline will be eligible for the two semester program. Later applicants, including English and Social Studies, will need a minimum of three semesters to complete the program.

Current SSU students who will complete their undergraduate degrees in Fall 2009 and are planning to become teachers can transition into an SSU credential program in Spring 2010. These students should apply to the School of Education for admission and complete all admission requirements, including the completion of the graduate application through www.csumentor.edu

Prepare now to start a credential or graduate degree program in Fall 2010. We highly recommend that you apply to SSU for Spring 2010 to take the required prerequisite or core courses for our Credential and Masters Degree Programs. Due to state budget constraints, School of Education courses will not be offered in Summer 2010.
