PACT: Performance Assessment for California Teachers
All student teachers who enter a credentialing program after July 1, 2008 must now complete a Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) that is aligned to the California Teacher Performance Expectations (TPE) and approved by CCTC prior to receiving his or her credential.
Sonoma State University will be using the Performance Assessment for California Teachers (PACT) Teaching Event for their teaching performance assessment. PACT includes lesson planning, video taping and analysis of student work. The Teaching Event measures the Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs), which are teaching standards for California student teachers.
