Biography
Dr. Bacigalupa has been a professor of child development and early childhood education at Sonoma State University since 2007. Between 1987 and 1998, she worked in various early education settings in California and Minnesota, and starting in 1995 she began teaching adult students. She currently serves as Chair of the Department of Literacy, Elementary, and Early Education, Advisor for the Early Childhood Studies minor and major, Coordinator for the SSU First Year Experience (FYE), Co-chair of the Child Care Planning Council of Sonoma County, and First 5 Commissioner for Sonoma County.
