Director of Summer Reading and Writing Academy--
A three-week experience for readers of all abilities from ages 7 through
14. The focus is on uninterrupted reading and writing using a strengths
perspective.
Current Research: Investigating writing instruction from a miscue perspective.
Working in two schools with two classroom teachers—one a fifth
grade teacher in a bilingual setting and the other a middle school Title
I teacher. Preliminary findings presented at NCTE National Conference.
Department Digital Portfolio Designer and Project Leader
Currently piloting both reading courses in the new SB2042 credential
program.
