Biography Statement

I have been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Curriculum Studies and Secondary Education at SSU since Fall of 1999. Prior to that, I was a full-time adjunct faculty member in the Department of Secondary Education at San Francisco State University from 1991-1999. My primary areas of professional interest and expertise are adolescent development and health, parenting and parent education, multicultural education, and classroom management. In addition to teaching courses and supervising student teachers in the Single Subject program, I teach parenting classes for parents of teenagers in Petaluma and Santa Rosa.
