Al Herson, JD, MUP, FAICP, is ENSP’s 2009-10 Planner in Residence
The Planner in Residence program, started in 2003, brings nationally recognized planners to Sonoma State to meet with classes and faculty. Mr. Herson has a distinguished career as an environmental planner, teacher, and author. His writing includes books on the California Environmental Quality Act and the National Environmental Policy Act, and the recently published California Environmental Law and Policy (Solano Press Books). The program is highlighted by the “one-on-one” career coaching sessions made available to all seniors in ENSP’s planning program. Mr. Herson’s fall visit was in October and he will be returning to SSU during the week of April 12.
