Green Building Certificate Program: Summer 2009 Schedule.
This Certificate Program is designed with the working professional in mind. The year-long program consists of six core curriculum sections that will delve, with great depth, into a variety of relevant topics in both classroom and field trip settings.
Sustainable Landscaping Program: Summer 2009 Schedule.
This 6-month program is focused on developing the skills and resources necessary to enable sustainability-based decision making within a corporate, institutional, municipal, or individual site setting. Graduates of this program will be able to work with owners, project managers, architects and contractors in a new construction, renovation or on-going maintenance setting.

Lectures & Events
The Environmental Technology Center hosts a variety of events intended to inspire and instruct on the value and use of sustainability principles, including: green building design & construction, energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.

2007 Energy Forum Lecture Series - Series Schedule
A lecture series that will inspire and inform about how Green Building, renewable energy, and energy efficiency can lead us into a SUSTAINABLE FUTURE. Nationally recognized professionals and academics will present on a variety of energy-related topics, ranging from energy efficiency to international energy policy and climate change. This SSU course is open to the broader communityand will be available on the web and for university credit. Class will be held on Wednesdays, 4:00 - 5:40 PM, January 31 - May 16, 2007.
2005 Green Building Professional Seminar Series
The Environmental Technology Center at SSU and the Redwood Empire Chapter of the US Green Building Council co-hosted a series of 4 professional level seminars.

A series that inspires and informs about how Green Building, renewable energy, and energy efficiency can lead us into a SUSTAINABLE FUTURE...
2002 "Energy and the Environment: Vision and Solutions" Lecture Series.
Available on video or CD. All 11 of the lectures in this series are now available individually, at a cost of $20 each, or as a special edition compilation, at a cost of $150. Lectures cover a wide variety of energy and sustainable building related topics. Presentations will be of interest to both the general public and professionals in the building / design fields. Guest speakers are nationally recognized designers, builders, researchers, academics, and policy-makers. ETC Tours
By prior appointment and on weekends for larger groups. The tours are an opportunity to learn about the Center and are led by the center staff and volunteers.
